History

East Middle School's building was dedicated in 1990 and occupied in January of 1991.  Built to serve the students of Star, Biscoe, and Candor, the school is located in the Town of Biscoe.  Biscoe is located in Montgomery County, only three miles from the geographic center of North Carolina.  The first principal of East Middle School was Mr. Eddie Henderson.  We are one of two middle schools in Mongomery County and are the home of the East Middle Knights!!!
