Jennah King, Assistant Principal

 

Dear Knight Families and Friends,

It is with great enthusiasm that I reach out to you as the Assistant Principal of East Middle School. I am incredibly grateful and excited to be a Knight Family! I look forward to working in partnership with Mr. Smith and the staff, as we continue advocating for and providing all students and families with an educational experience where values and diversity are celebrated. Before joining East Middle, I was an Instructional Facilitator at Mt. Gilead Elementary. Before pursuing a role in administration, I was a teacher's assistant and a classroom teacher.  I have had many roles in our county, including Pre-K, EC, fifth, sixth, seventh, and eighth grades. I enjoy working with teachers, parents, and students of Montgomery County.  

On a more personal note, I am a lifelong resident of Montgomery County.  I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, reading and shopping. I have two sons, Nicholas (21) and EJ (20). I am the grandmother to an amazing little girl, Oaklyn Mae. She is my world! I am blessed to have a wonderful partner in life, Darik. I also have a dog, T-Rex.
